Smoothie

We often struggle with healthy food ideas for kids. Getting your child to eat healthy meals can sometimes be quite a Struggle.

A smoothie might be the way to go.

Smoothies are healthy, tasty and provide a lot of the nutrients that your growing child needs.

A few staple veggies that I love to use are Organic Kale and Spinach. Fruits are a great addition as well. I would suggest adding some that are sweet such as banana, mango and pineapple. The sugar in the fruits will make your child love it too!

They may even ask for more.

Liquid Vitamins

Liquid vitamins can be added to your smoothie. There are so many on the market right now to choose from. Vitamin D, Elderberry and Echinacea are some that I have used in previous batches. Your selection is based on your needs and preferences.

Vitamin supplements are not always necessary or needed. If your child has a balanced healthy diet, they will get all the vitamins/nutrients their body needs from the food they eat. But, we know some kids can be very picky and eating a balanced healthy meal may not be possible.
